Blues. If you are not aware of his music and lyrics pay him a visit and

As the original Blues artists from the Delta,Chicago and Texas
struggled to make their Music heard a few records were discovered by
young British kids in the early sixties. The impact of these remarkable
sounds on this generation took on a life all of its own and in a couple
of years the Blues was the talking point of all Kids interested in
music. It was cool to be into R'n'B and to know even a few of the
names. What followed changed the World of Music for ever
For me, the piano is the symbol of what is stiff, proper and elegant.
It doesn’t have faults, it is perfect. Pianists are the most
perfectionist people in the world. They should not and can not make
mistakes especially when performing. That is how I viewed the piano and
the pianists. But then, I just found out I was wrong. A few researches
and I have once again proven that appearances can be deceiving.
Practicing the guitar is no different than doing anything else to
improve other aspects of you life. For example, if you're an athlete do
you improve your endurance by driving you car? No, you do it by running
or some other form of exercise that builds muscle and cardio vascular
endurance.
Starting a sheet music collection is easy, once you’ve decided what you
want to collect. Sheet music is inexpensive and relatively easy to
find. You can find music at yard sales, antique shows and on the
internet. Only music that is very scarce or rare is expensive. Most
pieces can be found at a price between three and twenty five dollars.
Extremely rare sheet music can carry a price of up to a thousand
dollars, but few pieces fall into this category. You will find music in
any color graphic or subject matter you are looking for.
Once a recording studio reaches a certain size, it has to have a studio
cat. That seems to be Nature's unwritten law and you resist it at your
peril. It happens as you're unwrapping the new Lexicon reverb unit that
will take you up to the next level of sound. Before the carton has been
cleared away, there is a scratching at the studio door. And you really
don't have any say about the applicant. Apparently there is some
mystical studio cat network, and when that unheard alarm goes off, Ma
Nature picks the kitty and sends it to the door.
Twenty-four young, healthy test subjects lay quietly in a university
lab, listening to carefully chosen music through headphones, as doctors
and technicians hovered around them meticulously measuring their vital
signs. The study concluded quickly and the subjects returned to their
normal everyday lives. But as the researchers began sifting through the
data, something new and interesting began to emerge.
Whether you are a teenager or are well into your golden years, it is
never too late to explore your creative side, especially if you are
interested in music. Songwriting is an excellent way to express your
thoughts and feelings and to communicate them to your friends and
family, even if you have no aspirations of musical fame or fortune. If
you are interested in selling or performing your songs, however, you
should be aware that it is a hard road and that very few songwriters
achieve great fame or fortune, and especially not instantly.
Nonetheless, if you have realistic expectations, you will find that
writing music is a worthwhile experience whether it is a hobby or a
profession.
Thursday, a post-hardcore band, is from New Brunswick, New Jersey. The
band formed in 1997. Their first full-length album was released in 1999
with a New Jersey based company called indie Eyeball Records. Thursday
is known for their notable advancements of artistic nature; many of the
bands songs are as a result of books, real world events, and art of
various forms. Successfully emerging from the underground indie scene,
Thursday at the turn of the century attracted Victory Records
attentios.
So you wanna be a star? Part 1 So, you’ve made the decision! You’ve finished recording your album and
it’s the “best” - it deserves to be heard by the world and you’re
deserving of the adulation afforded to the creation of such a
masterpiece! Of course, you know in your own mind that it won’t be easy
to become a star. After all, everyone says that the music business is
difficult’. But hey, you’ve got what it takes, you’ve got talent, and
this really is a great album - all your friends and family agree - so
what can possibly stop you? What indeed...?
So you still wanna be a star? Part 2 Whatever genre of music you’re in, you need to define your definition
of success. If your definition is ‘being a rich and famous superstar’,
then, well ‘good luck’... but if your definition is ‘being a creative
artist doing what you want to do in life by sharing your music with
those who will listen’, then you should succeed. And if you’ve got the
bottle to stick to your own sound and style, your own beliefs of how
your music should sound, then you’ve even more chance of success in the
long term.
The main goal in creating a press kit is to generate interest in an
artist and the music they play. A press kit includes background
information, photos, samples of music, a listing of past and future
gigs you have scheduled, and any other pertinent information.
