Telemarketers... ooohhh... I'll bet we've all
got a nice story to tell about these guys & gals don't we? Well
here's a story i'll never forget and I'll show you how to turn a sales
call into a sale for you! So I'm sitting in my office one day and mind you at the moment I didn't
have a helper to screen my call for me and don't you know it, I get a
telemarketer.
What's
the Difference between a USP, Single Message and a Tagline? Maybe
you've heard these different marketing terms, maybe you haven't. Either
way they're important to succesfully market your business.
Spielberg's blockbuster, "Minority Report", is
set in the year 2054. The future - at least according to a team of MIT
futurologists, hired by the cinematic genius - is the captive of
embarrassingly personalized and disturbingly intrusive, mostly outdoor,
interactive advertising.
How do you know whether your advertising is effective or not? The answer is to track advertising response for each ad you run. Whether you operate a retail store, a service business, a mail order
operation, or an Internet marketing business, you can measure the
effectiveness of your advertising.
Pens are used by almost everybody, from
students, professionals, housewives, company executives and virtually
in any type of job. Therefore making a promotional pen that contains
the company logo, a product name, a company design and any marketing
idea that a company wants the public to see is definitely effective. It
reminds your customer of your company each time the pen is used.
Promotional pens could be used as low-cost promo at the point of sale
or as a better-quality promo pen a consumer will keep and use everyday.
Promotional pens are perfect giveaways for corporate events,
launchings, tradeshows, exhibits and other marketing activities.
For years people have tuned into radio talk
shows, radio morning shows as well as all those broadcasters and their
funky styles. If you are like many, you flip on the radio as well. From
a marketing standpoint though, do you realize the value of radio
advertising? While many say that your marketing dollars should be split
into various categories, you will find that this is an excellence place
to start. What does radio advertising have to offer you?
Once a cherished project such as your first
ebook or ecourse has been completed, we need to turn our attention to
the marketing of your project. Here's where things sometimes turn somewhat difficult if the author and
the marketeer are one and the same person, and here's where we have to
be cautious and take the right steps in the right order, so we might
stay on track.
I am reasonably certain that anyone reading this
article is familiar with all the free online advertising methods such
as the all-too familiar Sp-m emails, Classified Ads, FFA pages,
Banners, Text Ads, Traffic Exchanges, Newsletters, Guaranteed Visitors,
Paid to Read, Paid to Join, Link Swaps, Pop-ups, as well as many other
types of 'In-Your-Face' advertising, some of which may have been
dreamed up since this article was written.
Talk to almost any advertising agency, or
Fortune 500 company exec about advertising and promotion, and you will
almost certainly hear the buzz words "fragmented advertising" and
"consumer-centric campaigns" and long discussions about the many
pitfalls and difficulties of creating effective advertising campaigns
today.
What is fragmentation exactly? It's the increase in the number of available methods for getting your message to your audience.
As a small business owner, every dollar you
spend is a dollar that comes right out of your pocket and affects your
profit margin, especially when you're trying to grow your business. If
you're going to succeed, you have to pay close attention to your bottom
line and look for creative, innovative ways to cut costs while still
getting what you need.
That old saying that it "takes money to make money" has never been truer than when it comes to promoting your business.
There is a new form of advertising that is
taking off and from the new coverage it is getting it may be the next
biggest thing since PPC. Currently webmasters spend huge amounts of
money to get web visitors via banner ads, popup ads, and pay per click
ads. The newest mode of attracting traffic is called Pixel Advertising.
The success of ad campaigns are not easy to
gauge since you don’t have any formula to help you in computing just
how much of your postcards for example, has been converted into
dollars. However, you may always apply trial and error methods but even
this will not provide you with the exact figure of how much you have
earned from your ad campaign. The trial and error method will only
provide you with a rough estimate of how much returns in terms of sales
your ad campaign has brought your business.
In
the food-service industry, advertising is critical. There are many ways
to use buttons and badges in this industry. When the advertising budget
is tight, a button maker will expand those precious dollars.
We are bombarded with thousands of marketing
messages daily…on television and the radio, on the internet, in
magazines and newspapers, on billboards and other signs, and even at
the bottoms and on the backs of receipts. The world is, indeed, a very
noisy place. And in order to get heard, we need our marketing messages
to be clear and concise.
Communication is the key to any business
endeavor. But then again not all business owners have the time and the
capacity to meet personally or call individually their customers. It
would be a tasking as well as expensive endeavor to call every customer
just to update them on the latest happenings in the company. However,
there is one very effective tool that a business owner may employ and
that is through the use of postcards. What are postcards?
If you haven't already experienced it yourself,
then you've probably heard some of the horror stories about trying to
find or work with a graphic designer. It can be difficult, time
consuming and frustrating to say the least, but in all fairness it's no
different than any other profession. Think about how some people must
feel when they have to work with some of your competitors.
