Something is roaring into the business community’s depot that has been
building momentum for years. I call it the Gray Train. On December 31,
2004, the last Baby Boomer turned 40, pushing that train to full
throttle. Marketers are missing the obvious and not-so obvious
opportunities to grow their businesses with this appealing audience.
I have been around the internet for quite sometime — offering
outsourced services and software products. I see a lot of internet

Make sure that the words you use on your Web site are benefit-oriented rather than feature-oriented. Instead of telling your potential customers what your product can do (features), tell them what it can do for them (benefits). In other words, describe the product in terms of the result it offers rather than the product itself. Here's a simple way of writing benefits, which I've used very effectively for myself and for clients.

And is having a logo really that important? My answer to both of these questions is an emphatic YES!
What if you've done a variety of marketing activities over the past
year, but you did not establish any way to track the response? Now you
don’t know what worked and what didn’t. Is there anything you can do now before you continue with your

not-so-effective marketing activities?
Good marketing, whatever form it takes, always meets certain criteria.
